A while ago I couldn't for the life of me get the feel I wanted from the brakes, so i went balls to the wall and fitted braided lines new pads and new fluid which was better but still not right. I then fitted a Big Bang R1 radial brembo master cylinder which was a revelation at the time. I fitted new Hong Kong phooey levers straight away, literally had one short ride with the original lever.

After that - and it probably should've clicked a long time ago, the brakes felt like they were going off again. Re bled them a few times and still felt spongy. Never thought it could be the lever as I've had a few sets and never had a problem with them.

I just grabbed a handful in the garage as I'm having a mess before using It tomorrow and managed to pull the lever right back to the grip, thought this is fucking ridiculous ill try the old lever.

2 mins later and my lever is like and on off switch.

They might look good but I will never buy the2wheels levers again. The replacement Big Bang R1 2wheels lever was twice the depth on the inner cup where it actuates the master cylinder, not just that but the bolt hole was beginning to wear and elongate, for some reason they had machined it to the size of the shank rather than provide a bush. Not sure if you can tell on the pic but it was getting baggy and this is after about 1000 miles!!

    You've been warned.

Aye I know what you mean. If I can be arsed it'll be to get my money back though as I'm not putting another set on. I can't believe the difference.

Let us know how it feels mate, on mine the difference is night and day

Yes bikenutter the tolerances appear bloody miles out which is a serious worry over their quality checks... If they have any

Ill be honest I've always defended these levers when people have chatted shit about them. Ill stand by the fact they are well machined, but I've no confidence in the design anymore, especially if they can't be arsed to just copy the originals that already work.

Rode it yesterday and it was two finger touch as opposed to having to grab a handful. Never thought a lever could be so wrong.

it's dead easy to sort them out, drill the main mounting open and whack a bush in, su throttle spindle bush is just about perfect, and on the hinge take the bush out of there and shorten it with a bit of w+d until it's a tad thicker than the lever end, re fit and tighten it up and you have an uncle called bob;)

i did mine, have to admit i couldn't be arsed drilling them in the pedestal drill and drilled them a bit wonky:( takes about 10 minutes and costs a couple of quid for the bush and you end up with a fantastic fitting lever.

I'll chip in with the two wheels being shite. I put levers on, had one ride then put it away for winter.

I've had it out more this year, and realised that the clutch adjuster doesn't seat properly on setting two, and just slips to setting one causing alsorts of fun because it does it as you pull the lever :-o

I've contacted the two wheels to see if they'd send me a new adjuster, likely cost them pennies and I'd have bought them for future bikes then... nope, been blanked.

I had the 2 Wheels levers on the Thundercat. They've been brilliant except for one moment when the adjusters snapped back to position 1 while emergency braking. Luckily, managed to stop it using the engine and the rear brake but christ it scared the crap outta me. Always been a little careful when braking from then on.

That's the exact same problem as I'm having Tom, it's alsorts of entertaining when it's on the clutch as it's like you've just let it out. It doesn't do it on other settings, but it's still enough to make me a bit nervous about em. I'd like to hear other peoples experiences but I'm guessing this is "we got what we paid for"

Mines only happened the once, I'd been spiritly riding 'Cat since then and had no issues at all.

£28 compared to £128 is a no brainer for me.
