wooohoo first post! right my 02 cbr 600 has a flat spot at 7000 rpm. it all started straight after i replaced my old downpipes which were corroded and had a massive hole in, for some stainless steel downpipes which looked exactly the same. since then ive changed the air filter, made sure there are no blockages or air leaks. also replaced the spark plugs earlier which didnt help. i've ran out of ideas as to what the problem is, any ideas?
nope, i didnt think i would have to do that, because theyre not performance enhancing in anyway, just stainless steel instead of mild.
If they are not standard Honda I think it would affect it, but i am no mechanic just sound like it maybe that. maybe one of the others could shed some light on this.
