Ok if anyone can help got a letter that I have to have a vic check done on the car it was a cat c 19/03/2010 yet has tax and mot till August 2014 I knowing bought the car 3 week ago from a used car place knowing it was cat c repaired as they told me but surely without a vic check it was sold unlawfully??? From what I gather, it's not illegal to sell a veh that was cat c'd and repaired without havin vic'd it. I would have thought though the garage would have a moral obligation to warn you it needed a Vic. Rite I know about this as I have had one before you have to get a appointment in a vosa test station for the Vic check there is one in garston but the car can be driven there as long as it's insured and a mot on it than you get the log book in the post it's not a mot station that does the check vosa only Sent from my HTC One using Tapatalk

not sure on that one? something doesn't add up with it having tax? could just be a cock up by the dvla?
