Camping. April. Llanberis. 5th and 6th April

Couple of miles south of Central Manchester, sounds like a decent central point.

 

I'm a definite . Will know nearer the time whether I'll be setting off from Bolton or Lancaster way.

Currently bidding on a new fuel tank for the bike, needs a complete refit! Hopefully i'll be up and sorted for it, seeing as i got the weekend off and all alm:

 

What's wrong with the tank Peter, is it fucked? Hope you get sorted in time.

 

It was from an ntv650, not content with it being the wrong tank some idiot decided that it'd be fine to fit it with a single steel brace instead of to the actually chassis. cant even replace the battery as it cant be removed as the tank hangs over it haha. Just seems more sensible to redo the lot and sort it once and for all, with any luck i'm still alright for the trip though!

 

No need to book the camping, can just rock up.

Are there pubs within walking distance? Or is it cans of ale at the campsite?

 

LLanberis centre is only 10 mins walk away with several pubs. In the interests of keeping costs down I usually eat at the campsite, then have a couple in the pub, then a couple back at the site with with a big fire

 

At the minute it looks like this is off the cards for me, been trawling all the bike shops and breakers i can find to find a 15mm fuel shut off but only found one that would fit in California, ordered it last week but its due for delivery on the 10th april, next time i'm a definite to come though. (although if by some god send it arrives early i'll still be coming)

 

would love to myself but only on a 125, and cant handle top speeds have fun though
