Anyways I have a loveley set of wets to play on if it decides to rain

Living in Manchester this one was an early start, I set off from my house this morning at the lovely hour of 4am.

I eventually arrived at Cadwell for 6:30 bright and early followed by the usual set up,brief and siting laps.

The first season out I began to play on the wets Stef had supplied me with at the track. Being my first time at Cadwell and on wets, I did think that it would take me a while to get use to how the tyres behave.

After a few laps I got to grips with them and I cannot believe the amount of traction and grip they give you. I began to pass a few when I caught upto a few going into Charlies, blasting down the back straight I knew that I could not pass as I did not have the power. Once I got to the bend at the end of the straight I made my move and positioned myself to the left and went the long way round three of the riders.

As I approached the fourth just before the Goose Neck, I ran out of tarmac (not good). I hit the grass at a fair few knots and kept saying to myself "Dont touch anything". Kept it in a straight line and got back onto the track (with the biggest brown stain you have ever seen).

It was a good day despite the weather and it was good to meet Matty and JaRSV, I have just noticed that one of the lads from here came off and had to be taken away in an ambulance (speedy recovery mate).

Brilliant track, cant wait to try it out in the dry.

The only down side to the day is the fact that I got in at 9:00pm as the M62 was closed WTF.

Bring on Oulton on Tuesday a nice 25 minute drive down the road

He is ok mate, he came away with four fractures to his collar bone (I know how that feels).

Wets are a different class mate,so much grip it is un true. When I got there I reduced the softness on the front forks by two and the rear by tree (happy days).

First time over the mountain I was shouting in my lid "fucking hell" did a massive wheelie 2 inches off the ground.

Cant wait for this Tuesday (see you there Daz) and to re attend Cadwell in the dry.

GET YOUR ARSE ONIT NEXT TIME YOU FANNY.

I think he lives North Manchester way, I am in Stockport so it's not too far from me I suppose.

What time are you getting there for mate,I will be there for 6:30 ish as I want to make sure I get garage. I am going to aim for 1 to 5 like the lads on TDR are saying.

Hopefully the weather is as stated "dry and 10 degrees", I am off today so I will do a sundance all day for us.

Is Daz coming to this one?

If it stays dry I will be there, I paid and put myself into the inters but I have no wets so it's useless for me unless it stays. Dry.
