Hi all i was wondering if anyone would be up for goin to this next year "yes i know a whole year away but just a thought " anyways i'm definitely gonna get a ticket once i've passed my test plus got a bike so whos up for it........ Heres the website for this years but i think its to late thats way i said it for next years http://www.bulldogbash.eu This is a cool thing about it too http://www.bulldogbash.eu/drag-strip-5.html The things called run what you brung an the costs for RWYB are just 10 per day Friday, Saturday and Sunday; you can run as many times as you like within the days sessions which are between 9:30 am to 5:00 pm on Friday and Saturday, 9.30 to 1.00pm on Sunday more info on the site...
 really???? it's ace lol! ok so it's organised by the angels but tbh theyre 99% top blokes and genuinely into their bikes. not sure about the other 1% lol :fish: i went this year and though it pished down a lot and was extremely muddy, still had a beltin time, good bands on, great custom show & stunters etc, thousands of bikes to look at, loads of beer, and a great legal highs tent lol :sorcerer: due to the inclement weather there was no drag racing until sunday, apart from a few runs friday morning.... it was my 1st time on the strip and i thoroughly enjoyed it tbh - cracking buzz burning out in front of a 1000 strong crowd then roaring up the rubber track lol Great fun... & the track was kept open until 4pm for the rwyb class, though a pro top fuel racer blew a bursting plate and dumped oil all over the left track so it was closed for the afternoon meaning just the 1 track was available for solo runs. downside for me was rolling out my tent to find i'd left my soddin poles at home so had to buy another (substandard) - got very wet & soggy but was too wrecked to care tbh! oh & watch out for hidden cameras on the last 15 mile or so into the site - plod were everywhere but apparently were very disappointed with the number of tickets... next year is the 25th bash and promises to be a massive event, more pro dragsters, more top bands and tribute acts, massive firework display etc.... 55 for a long weekend incl camping is not a waste of imo! highly recommended for anyone who loves biking
Never been the bulldog but im up 4 it next year . I go lots of rallys there great you cant say nythin unless u been to one . I go lots were the angels are and if u dont bother them they dont bother you . They go nabd and thats for charity . thjere not like in the old days

I went in '95. Must have been good coz I can't remember much about it and ended up with a shit tattoo!
take some wellies lol if its awt like this year! was like a typical glasto with the mud. oh, and a puck! i used beercans but werent much use. and get your bike ready for the dragstrip lol - theres a longer swing arm going on mine and i'll save enough to get a new tyre put on at the tyre stand after the burnouts lol found my tent poles today that i forgot to take with me lol

Will be going this year. It is usually an amazing weekend and a must go for me. Last years bash wasn't great though and it wasnt only the weather that spoilt it. Last year it seemed to be a lot smaller and IMO not anywhere near as good as other years. I will be there but after last year this will make it or break it for me. Hopefully last years penny pinching (or so it seemed to me) will be due to the fact that this year will be the 25th anniversary, so hopefully a good one.
