it only rained lighty early pm for about 1hr then stayed clear (but cold) til 7pm the first few races were a bit slippy but the track dried out fine later on. a few reds due to offs but no cancellations as was expected. you cant predict local rain when it's windy = simples.
was a great weekend with some great reacing. Haga coming from nowhere on sundays race. then walker taking his first win in ten years or so. Good companytoo with NWB Lavinia got some signatures on her new hoodie Seeley, Brookes and Connor Cummins
had an excellent weekend.... bt chilly yesterday but as mentioned only a short shower then dry all day...
Aye was only a short shower, some excellent racing on show especially from Stalker, he got Brooks and shakey right near us, made up he won! Had to dart early, the lad was in agony with earache and the cold wasn't helping managed to get home to see race 3, the super sport red flag looked nasty, hope the lad is ok.
was surprised he got up from that tbh.... he went straight on at 120+ instead of taking a left & bailed just before hiting the bales.... his bike hit hard and destroyed the barrier hance the red flag. he staggered out from under the bales lol, looked a bit winded but was ok
Looked cold there but the only cold thing I had was beer from the fridge and the heating on. Some top racing from what i saw of it.
only on the screen..... looked proper nasty :O how the fk do they walk away from that lol. one of the 600 lads had a realtively minor looking lowside next to us at shaw and was ambulanced away with broken collar bone and bruised wrist.. :/
Looking at the replays the stewards looked lucky too with the bike flying up and then over the barrier
The one I seen on tv was the super stock 600 Johnny Blackshaw and Josh Wainright. Wainright got smacked in the head by Blackshaw's bike, unavoidable looked proper nasty
yes that was the bad one at Druids! saw it on the TV later. He has cracked collar bone and some bust ribs according MCN. could have been much worse, memories of Ben Gautrey came flooding back again when i saw it.
