Hi guys, for a while now my brakes have been really really really bad in the wet.
When the disk is wet theres just no response from the front brake unless you really pull on it and when you do its like the water dries off and the front then jolts and wants to lock up.
    Anyway of improving this?
    ie. new disc? etc..
I have EBC pads with pleanty left on them, or do i just live (try to) with it?
    Ad.

The EBC pads probably only work properly when there warm .. hence cold wet disks = shit brakes ... I would put standard pads back on they work much better in colder weather :D

You using EBC GG or EBC HH?

HH have better water clearing properties.

Also try 'pre braking' where you dab to clear water off of the disc and then re apply the brakes, you tend to get more bite that way.

Not sure which ebc they are.
Yeah i usually pre brake when its we but by the time ive done it the disk is wet again
Might change them for these new pads i have.
    Cheers guys

On modern bikes they have ABS... basicly thats what your doing by pumping the brake. Who needs fancy electrics eh?

well you cant pump it as fast as ABS pumps it lol ever heard a car breaking when ABS kicks in, feels and sounds like the car is gonna vibrate to pieces lmao
