Just got braided brake hoses for my bike and as you can see from the picture my old rear brake hose wasn't fitted in the bracket correctly so I have put a cable tie around it, what is the correct way of putting the new one through the bracket. I have looked in the Haynes put couldn’t see it any were? Or any better ideas so it looks tidy?

here's the sort of thing i'd expect: this which is the same as on my curvy.

couple more not so good pics: this on a curvy, this on a pointy.

Then I saw this which at a guess is how your bracket is supposed to look - seems a bloody silly way of fixing the hose though.

So it would seem to be you need to straighten the big loop, and let the hose be loose!

    It has been flattened.

Dont bent it back without applying a bit of heat first (be careful of paintwork)

It looks like cheap/brittle metal.. it may not take kindly to being bent back with force!

    Who is you, mac?
I do not want to bend it back. Really want something new and tidy there? any suggestions?

Dam bloody braided brake hoses, wrong length, wrong banjo bolts not enough copper washers. (Even though they were told the make of my bike year K5 model etc!) So sending them back, before I get sent the new ones from west Yorkshire just a few questions. Do I need any additional P clips? Does any one have any pictures of their braided hoses on their bikes?

Got the new Hel braided brake hoses inside there is, 2 packets with banjo bolts in, 1 has 3 for front 1 has 2 for rear but they are different threads. I cant see rear cailpers and master cylinder being different thread to front?? is this right? just making sure because do not want to strip the bike and they be wrong again, or I might have to go to Yorkshire and give someone a piece of my mind! lol xox Any pics of one's with p clips and right size?? thanks all.
