I have set the idle on my bike quite high, to stop it from cutting out as when im idling, it will go down to 1.5k and then when i try n set off it will cut out... Somtimes it will idle at around 3.5 which is what i thought i had set it to...

I have no idea what it is doing,,, if i just leave my choke on it is fine some im thinking that im not getting enough petrol thru?

    So effing confused.

Sounds like you're not letting it warm up enough or leaving the choke on for long enough before setting off.

What bike is it and what's the idle speed reccommended in the manual?

Cold engine idles at a lot lower revs than a hot one and is more prone to cutting out, some bikes need you to get a knack of slipping the clutch whilst keeping the revs up when setting off or slowing down.

or even your clutch cable could need tightening? had the problem on my SV the clutch was shit and wasnt fully disengaging the engine, so in gear with clutch it idled really low and was prone to stalling
