The damned bike is never right the npoise coming from the clutch/ gearbox is doing my head in People just tell me that CBR1100's have noisy clutch baskets but this is a gravelly rattle and almost knock at times. Does anyone know where I can get the clutch serviced without it costing me a kids ransom ?
i have a blackbird with 42000 mile on it the clutch is pretty quiet,though some do have noisy ones they reckon,when i 1st got mine it knocked loudly at 1st start up and i thought i'd bought a knackered bike, but i found out one of the starter valves on the throttle bodies was stuck open causing it to run uneven and knock till it warmed up.
