The oldies will say two stroke and the young uns will say for stroke. My answer is four stroke as nothing compares to the zed on full chat
As an "Oldie" I was brought up on 2 strokes, but for me I love the sound of a 4 stroke, it just sounds so much sweeter, the 2 strokes bring back fond memories though, mainly of breaking down and pushing quite a lot of them. :roflmao:. But that was back in the day, a lot more reliable these days (unless you still have one from the 70's). What you'll never beat about the 2's is the smell though, I love the smell of 2 stroke in the morning.
Sound - four stroke (especially a twin) But the smell of a two stroke.....well thats a different thing altogether.
I would also say 4 stroke with the exception of any IL4 - especially loud ones they all sound pants* * ducks and runs for cover
It gets warmed up and revved a little every now and then, but as it was a one off, parts are rarer than unicorn steak! When it was raced at the Bol d'Or in 1978 and they were caning it along the Mistral straight, it must have been AWESOME!
Wedge most peoples fat arses into that seat you'd need surgery to get them off. Does sound amazing though.
4stroke in those 2 definitely sounds the best 2 stoke sounds like nothing is bolted together and the whole thing is banging itself to fuck, gonan rattle to bits any minute That CBX sounds crisp and smooth.
