Dont forget to disconnect battery before welding the bike !! and i'd drop off earths as well if possible, unplug ecu ... whatever you can get to but remember where they all go measure thrice, cut once ... twice just aint enough Best of luck mate, dont rush it
Well the ecu has got to come off anyway just take the battery off as what it does it burns your coils out in the engine.and if you need an help with the welding give me a shout mate.
Or use my approach: close your eyes, cut and hope Good luck, i couldnt bare to watch. Best be worth it haha
