£2000 for a 2001 plate? must be some good extras on it ! I just paid £1100 for a 2000 plate Mk2 with a brand new set of tyres, you will be lucky to get that mate
to be honest, yours probably runs alot better than this one haha, bet your mate was laughin his head off when i rode that away ! Already cost me close to £300 in repairs with more to do
so far its had all 3 calipers stripped and rebuilt cause they were stiffer than a preist in an all boys school, exhaust needed welding back together at the collector pipe, indicator panel/choke thing spins round as does the left grip, headlight flopped about like a dick in a bucket. Rear indicators need replacing as its LED at backa and bulb at front so doesnt work properly. Carbs need sorting out and I think theres an oil leak from somewhere. Then theres a few smaller bits like screws missing out of the rear brake fluid cylinder, was held on with a tie clip, no screws / bolts holding the little under tray to the frame above the battery and needed a new rear bulb. Just a short list for a bike ive owned 2 weeks but stuck with it now so going to have to make the repairs and such.
yeah on the other hand, think yours probs is worth £2k haha, wont make that mistake again in a hurry! Pay cheap you pay twice lol
Luck of the draw I think rob, I paid same for mine and mine looks tatty and runs fine. Just the electrics have gone recently. My cousin paid same aswell beginning of last year, his looks mint and he's not had any problems apart from the carbs needing cleaning after not using it last winter.
what extras ? And thats low mileage ! For a bandit , looks tidy and easilly 1800ish depending on extras 2000
