Austin Vince - Terra Circa - 18th April 2015

Austin Vince is doing an evening 18/04/2015 at Squires bikers cafe, Sherburn in Elmet.

AV was one of the partakers of Terra Circa. You'll all of heard of "Long way round". Well Charlie and Ewan's mentors were the Terra Circa group that circumnavigated the globe decades prior, unsupported, on DR350 and they didn't bail out and catch the train on the difficult bit.

If anyone is serious about wilderness adventurer touring this is a must do. Loads of experience and information to be had.

i have watched terra circa someone dropped out part way and someone stepped in and carried on the journey.really enjoyed watching it.they had one hell of a journey.

 

I have the dvd somewhere. Presentation is very home movie of the era compared to LWR, but the content is so much more down to earth. Remember, they had no support vehicles or big company funding.
