Lee i think you will be pleasantly surprised at the quality, you will need to take the insert/sleeve and fixing bolt out of your existing levers.

As for using short levers its down to personal preference, what i like everyone else might hate. However i love the shorties as you only need 1 or 2 fingers to use them so i hsve a prooper grip on the handlebars, it comed from racing 2 strokes and off roaders.

Ive also got big hands :D

    Quick update.
levers arrived from Hong Kong a couple of weeks ago.
now as i said im very fussy with certain things. and to be honest i am well impressed.
These levers daz has been banging on about are really good. well machined. no imperfections. fit perfectly.
    Id recommend them to anyone.

also a hell of a lot easier to reach the levers when you're going very quick.
160+ with standard levers and it's pretty hard to get hold of them lol.
shortys you get the same tug on the lever but theyre only like 2" off the bars.

btw avoid an ebay seller called 'barbarasstuff' selling these levers new - a few on vtr site have had trouble with the seller and had to use the resolve thing.
    just saying ;)

I've got some of them Chinese banzai kendo Nagasaki levers and was well impressed with the quality and price. At that money they're throw away items if you drop it too.

There's also some cracking levers on eBay as well, there no name levers that are foldable, and you can also shorten and lengthen them to your own preference, my uncle has a set and they look the nuts, I posted a link in a topic somewhere when someone was asking about levers for his bandit. I'll try and post a link up asap as I'm on my phone atm.
