I think Manchester is brilliant. I said Warrington and Bolton aren't very interesting.

Having been many times in my yoof I'd say Wigan was/is a good night out (much better clubs/pubs than Preston/Chorley/Bolton). The one way system is terrible but a bit irrelevant as the both train stations are right in the middle of town for pubs/clubs.

Newcastle is the place to go for pies. There's an all night Greggs in the City Centre. In fact, Newcastle is a great night out too, albeit a bit of a trek!

Southport would be pretty good...

date isnt really a problem for me as i can pick and choose my days off. main thinking on the 2nd was that its the first weekend of decmeber, most people will have just been paid and hopefully more will turn up coz there not skint after buying presents. also is it going to be easier/better if we go out on a pub / club crawl instead incase there isnt loads of us?? im open to suggestion but soon we ae going to have to nail down a date/venue if were having one coz places will be booked up

I dont mind either out on the town & do the Beast Run trophy thing another time or hire somewhere & do it all at the same time.

For all i know i could be back in hospital getting my finger sorted around about this time, will find out on 9th Dec.

So dates for me until i know what the hospital say are a little sketchy, apart from i would be ok for 2nd/3rd at the moment but realise the majority have the say as not all people can free at the same time.

Dave can you alter the thread for a vote as to who wants to come on what dates & for what kind of night (out on the town / hire somewhere) ???
