But, in the defence of all who have ... when they're going, they're good. I once owned a MK ll Le Mans Guzzi; it was beautiful but it never, ever gave me peace of mind riding like a Jap bike does. I'm no mechanic; I just like riding and the odd fettle but that Lemon gave me more frigging hassle than the Child Support Agency at Portsmouth Naval Base. Cheers,
Got the bugger running New spark plugs all round and a new battery and away she goes Was actually a lot simpler than i thought to do the front plugs, just tipped the tank up using the bar provided and took the airbox out and had plenty of room Cheers for the help/advice
Sounds like the battery then mate. These birds need a good, strong battery, even more so when cold. Glad you got it sorted
I've just had similar, battery seemed to be charging ok and started ok a few times then turning over ok but not starting, a new battery did the job straight away.
Took it out for a spin to make sure it's all fine and all is rickety boo. Forgot it was a brand new tyre on the back, not a good idea to try and scrub in a new tyre in cold wet greasy conditions, the back end tried to come past me a few times so I rode it home nice and slowly haha
Lmao a new tyre in cold and damp conditions is always a bum-twitcher, but on a dirty big v-twin thou it's like sticking two fingers up at the grim reaper and daring him to try and catch you lmao
Add into that wet leaves, and downhill left hander and my pants got soiled very quickly. Won't be making that mistake again in a hurry
Glad to hear you got things sorted, i had a new rear boot fitted today as well, queue rain mode, traction control on 8 and a tentative ride home.

I've had 2 RSV, s. No issues with the electrics at all. Just a bit of bother with the back brake on the last one but managed to sort that quite easily.
