Hey guys well i decided now that my nc23 is practically finished that i want to build another one from the spares that i have.
I did make a list of all the parts i need, but tonight i have been in contact with a guy that has an nc23 in bits all it needs is fairings and exhaust.
Fairings i already have so thats not a problem, exhausts are easy to get hold of too so.
Just waiting for someone to buy my nitro car then can go pick it all up and start cleaning and building it.
Anyone interested in a nitro car? lol

When i get it anyway i will be updating with pics etc as i go along, get it looking as good as my other nc23.

Apart from they have sent the wrong mud guard, and the front light surrounds are moulded under the paint, everything else is fine, paint finish is bang on like glass, they also sent me reflective strips which i dont have a clue were they are meant to go lol.

yeah there same ones that are on other bike mate.

Found out the mudguard is from an nsr250 so what im going to do is see if it will fit and if it does make a bracket to mount it.

The reflective tape i thought was for the wheels yeah but why not just send me it in 1 strip lol

just a few pictures of everything i picked up the other night.
Im not going to use this frame as i will have to send off for v5 etc, so im going to use the other frame i have because i have v5 and number plate for it.
I have loads more parts in my cupboard left over from the last build i did, will did everything out and take pictures of everything when i can, but for now im gonna start cleaning up the engine strip the carbs clean them give engine a coat of high temp silver and the covers in high temp gold, all the bolts and nuts etc are going to be left in rust cleaner solution over night then rust treated.

Anyway here are a few pics, the boxes are full of parts aswell as the bag.

Had a look through everything last night and only things i am going to need are:
    Exhaust
    Bottom part of air box
    Brake hoses
    Indicators

    Think thats it
It has a blue label cdi, so gonna try get hold of a gold one, was suprised it actually has the original reg/rec on aswell.
Full loom is bang on no been cut or anything, but to make it look newer ill be re wrapping it in insulation tape.

If I had all those parts and all ready to rebuild. I would build a really bad ass track slag, with propper race shock and race internals in the front forks, a full race system exhaust and get it dyno jetted.

I've been passed mid corner on these pocket rockets and they loom like a barrel of fun.

I reckon you couldn't have as much fun with your leathers on.

Whatever you do keep the picks coming :D

regarding the casings and other ally bits.....
    just a thought....
i had this minging cylinder head, really patchy corroded etc so i left it soaking overnight in a tub of arco hard surface cleaner.... not knowing what to expect.

i was quite surprised when i rinsed it all off to find an even matt anodised effect, picture doesnt do it justice.
looks like ive sent it off somewhere to have it anodised...

would look great on all the bits that have started to go. and as this is an even oxide layer, it'cant corrode i dont think :)

(yes i know my nails need cleaning btw lol!)

Nope i even wanted to start doing it that much i started doing the clocks and braces last night while i was laid in bed lol.
Took Speedo apart and removed the restriction plate, used some halfords bumper black and sprayed the speedo plastics, also the foam rev and temp surround got sprayed to make it look new, the clock brace was also sprayed. clocks now look like new :D
