    lol i used to be like that sue,, i paid out big dosh for smart leathers ,and hated the thought of "scratching " them.....now i normally buy smart leathers and replace the sliders with aftermarket ones, if i sell my leather , or even the bike.. bikes i put the new sliders back on....this looks to the prospective buyer i aint been riding round like a hooligan on the bke and have been respecting it ... silly fuckers lol
