is there any garage in the st helens area that i can get an alarm fitted, i got a hawk x-50 alarm but most garages don't do them an if they do they not cheap eg. 100+ pound which id rather do myself, i got a certificate with it so don't know if it can be signed by any mechanic
Can you not fit it yourself? I believe the hawks are a self install system as it is! I don't think a signed certificate would make the alarm work properly mind!
yer i have it fitted, just need a better place to put the alarm and that, not much room to hide on such a small bike haha
mate better off with bike trac, costs around 330 fitted, 99 a year subscription, doesn't drain your battery. even alarmed they can pick your bike up and get off with it, with a bike at least you have a good chance of finding it again... I have one and its great, set it off the other day by accident had a call within seconds from control room asking if my bike was where it should be! alarms are ok if people respond to them, but generally the public dont
