Hi mike. Yep I've done that. We went Portsmouth Bilbao. Docked around 4pm. Then rode too pamplona , we missed the bull run by a week, they were just getting ready or it , avoid if you can, cos the traffic in the city was a nightmare. From there we headed toward Andorra , the roads around the Spanish side of the Pyrenees were fantastic, much better than the French side! From Andorra we headed to the south coast of France , Perpignan. Superb place, then we headed back following the French side of the Pyrenees towards Pau and Lourdes. , from there we headed back towards the coast and on to Santander for the ferry home. If your travelling this route, or towards Andorra , it' can get wet and cold high up the mts crossing through Andorra . Andorra was nice but hugely expensive. Alot of places were closed up, due to it mainly being a ski resort. The border patrol was a night mare!! Crossing from Spain into Andorra took 45 mins, the you travel through Andorra , for15 mins to the French border, and hang around there or 45 mins as well ! We were unlucky to be stopped, they sometimes let you straight through. The only other thing is to avoid the tour de France, it's amazing to see but the traffic is heavy for miles behind it Are you going over ?
