Another Alterative i used for years, slightly cheaper bit more labour intensive was brush painting Waxoyl onto most of steelwork that had no contact with rider (frame ,wheels etc) and sprayed GT85(halfords) on clocks, controls etc. This treatment would last for Years and worked 100% although i used to remove it all with white spirit and hot soapy water in the Spring. Have used Acf50 this year (one application) Be interesting to see how it compares timewise.

after washing my bike i spray GT85 over most of it for protection...its a WD40 alternative but costs less, Halfrauds are selling 400ml spray cans for £2.85 where as wd 40 same size is around £5......Muc off do a similar afterbike water penetration spray ..that costs £8 a tin.!!!! its basically the same stuff...ACF50 is a more longer term application and well worth it in my opinion, if you are riding on the shitty salty roads

My winter protection is not using the bike :p
However if i do it gets a nice soapy bath after any run in the winter
