Secured a few weeks ago, and call me Dr Doolittle if you like, but this had to be bought (while on route to look at a new transit i took a detour and ended up buying this instead for a kings ransom) and be rescued from a collection where she was languishing and had hardly any use for many years but kept locked up as a prize of a collection and paraded every so often.

A bit old school and while semi restored and in remarkable original condition with low miles she benefits from a fresh engine rebuild and under this exterior, there beats a heart of steel. once you tame the beast, get used to the 80's wooden brakes and interesting handling with period mahogany tyres, with some fresh fuel and a splash of castrol's finest oils she will seduce you into frenzy of mixed excitement and fear of equal amounts (more fear if the road has bends and the requirement to slow down)

She is sat here for today and getting used to her new surroundings before she is released to the security of the garage where she can meet the other cubs some newer and some older where she will have to stand on her own 2 wheels and assert her own dominance and status in the fleet pecking order and fight for her chance to be thrashed shitless once this fecking snow pisses off.

That wouldn't happen to be the one that was kept at TST tyres (or was that a race one)?

yes Dave they are infamous on many forums and for all the wrong reasons and interesting sales tactics.
without doubt some stunning very clean appetizers but if spending that amount of money (and lets be honest here, Fastone stick another couple of G's on the real world market value) i would want a bike that was genuine and original and not been dream machined or made from bits.
strong words ? yep been approached a couple of times by these when i have sold a few of my rare bikes trying to pass themselves off as genuine none trade buyers.
No problem with traders, just prefer them to be honest or at least upfront instead of preying on those that are not clued up and fall for the patter.
