Just got this on monday morning, got them to part ex my nighthawk so killed 2 birds with one stone
Needs some work doing, low mileage 15 thousand kilometres on the clock and seems to be all there. Just waiting on a new battery and a few bits.
Also need to source one fairing panel that is missing.
Plan is to get it all up and running sweetly then work on the aesthetics.
Will try and take pics / updates along the way

Nice purchasing skills. I have got loads of spare panels kicking around either at home or in storage in Wales.
However as it is a none standard paint job it won't match and will require painting.

Best money you can spend on that is a new fresh pair of bt090s and am aftermarket rear shock and some hyper pro fork springs to make it really go around corners and be fun to ride

Yeah paint job is on the cards but that will be the last step. If you find the missing panel id happily buy it off you :)
The tyres are nearly new so will be fine with them for now I think. Just waiting on a new ignition barrel to arrive then I can see how she runs.
What rear shock do you recommend? One that wont break the bank anyways

There are no cheap good shocks sadly. Maxton are the best and avoid the cheap hagon offerings they are no better than standard in the 30 or 35
Just check the panels are oe or Chinese. If oe I can supply you a panel. Chinese or aftermarket won't fit.
Will have a look what I have in stock at home early next week for you. I need to do a bit of a stock take to gather what I need to finish this last nc30 off and sell it for spring

They are oe panels just had a custom paint job on em. They need a few repairs doing but that's no problem. Just let me know how much you want for the panel if you have one bud

They carry their weight well and are one of the nimblest bikes I have ever ridden.
The 750 is no heavier just a bit bigger and feels just the same with a bit more shove and noise and bark

the chinese fairings for the 30 and 35 are pretty dire. fit of the panels is poor, the tail section still after all these years is a farce and just does not meet. its like its been made from 2 different moulds.
tried and tested my many on 400gb, and the general feel is they are pretty bad still.

One or two vendors have upped the game recently. i was some MC28 Rothmans panels that were superb. paint was ok, not exactly OE, but the panel fit was spot on and lugs were superb and not brittle.

I've looked into the pc31 seems good reviews only downside was lining up there are 2 different types of mould ones good as oem.other is shite fragile shite
