Easier said than done in our place, as there is only 1 person allowed off at a time. I have to plan 3 months in advance for a day off
Sounds like racing excuse to me Kev Get on this one... http://www.nolimitstrackdays.com/in...trackdays/oulton-park-5th-october-2013-detail Its a saturday and a while off yet... 3 Sisters is fun... But this is where you'll get the adrenaline flowing
Might be doing that one myself. Asked the missus for a trackday for my birthday and this one is the weekend before. midweek ones are cheaper but I've only got 2 days holiday left to get to the end of the year.
Typically you'll get seven 20 minute sessions... There are 3 different groups beginners/ inters/ advanced, and each group goes out once an hour... The number of laps depends on how fast you are... I would imagine at Oulton to begin with you'll get 7 to 8 full laps in during a session... the first one wont be flying as you'll getting your tyres up to temp...
the best thing to do kev so you dont get a wasted day is .......keep your eye on the weather for the trackday date....when you get a forecast make your mind up then .. if you have booked a day off work can you change it ? ALSO keep in touch with the trackday organiser ..ring them when and ask how many places left in Novice etc .. this way you can avoid a wet day to a degree.. riding a wet track will make you a smoother rider...some parts are slippy ..esp the rumble strips and or painted areas ...DONT even touch them with your tyres
Also Oulton Park does a taster session think its 20 quid sign in is 1500 hrs. Get one session of 20 mins. Check out the Oulton Park website Sent from my underpants

Where are you getting your race scrubs from? I'd have a go if I could get rubber that's actually meant for the road and not gym floors
