    i got told by the fella that did mine not to ride it slow take the revs right up to red line now an agian so that the rings expand out properly meaning they would go to the exact shape of the barrel,
    if not rode in propely the rings dont match the barrel and pressure will leak through the slight gap in the rings and result in loss of power1

    just ride it easy till 50miles onto the piston, after 50 miles start to vary your revs quite abit, upto around 80 miles, after 80.. hit the red line a few times... also do quite afew heat cycles. warm it up with a decent mile ride then let it cool, that allows the piston to sit properly in the barrel
