Looking for a rack to fit my bike.. I don't want to put a top box on.. Well I don't think I do... But I would like to pop a rack on to give me the option of shoving a tailpack/ luggage on and still be comfy or have pillion if I wanted to... Before I go down the road of buying a new one... Thought I'd see if anyone had one they wanted to sell or knows anyone who does? I did buy one from eBay a couple of weeks ago... But the seller decided to renege on the auction... Guess that proves my point that if something seems too good to be true.. Then it usually is cautious: Kawasaki rack... Won for 30 quid... Bargain! Yup... But only if it actually arrives in your sticky mitts lol
What about a tank bag ...i use one for all my things ..and it has a carry strap for when i'm off the bike.. Quick and easy to take off ..put back on ...holds waterproofs tyre stuff and loads more ..back racks look crap..unless touring
The tank on the Er6 is quite high.. Being longer in the leg than the body ( and still a Shortarse!) I have found a tank bag frustrating and in the way.. I do plan to get away at weekends next year so will need to take extra clothing etc with me. Hence wanting a rack.. Thanks for the idea though x
