Hi guys well I've gone and fallen in love. With an aprilia tuono and unfortunately the SV has to go. The SV is a fantastic bike for beginners and experienced riders, I had an older curvy SV for my first big bike, I then messed around with Husabergs for a few years and went back to the old faithful SV but decided for a new pointy one. The bike has covered just over 14k miles with service stamps upto 11k. New rear tyre (less than 150mile) New chain and sprocket set (less than 150mile) New front brake pads (less than 50 miles) Scorpion end can with removable baffle (sounds amazing, original included) Solo seat cowl colour coded. Crash bobbins Datatool alarm There are minor marks the most obvious is a small scratch on the RHS panel. It really is in good condition for its age with plenty of receipts and paperwork. MOT has just run out but I'll put 12months on it next weekend and tax has also just run out. She has been sat all winter (major fair weather biker) but I took her out a couple of weeks ago and she drove absolutely perfect and ran just as good. I've put up one picture of her but I'll get some good quality photos and upload them ASAP. To be honest I'm looking for £2300 she has relatively low mileage compared to other sv's and with the new tyre, chain and sprockets she has miles and miles of trouble free motoring ahead.
Just in case Adam doesn't see this for an hour or two, if you go onto www.thebikeinsurer.tv I'm pretty sure you can get a quote putting in make, model and year and tick 'not bought yet' so you don't have to put in reg until you're ready to buy I use that site every year - it saves your details so you don't have to reinput everything, like confused.com etc does for cars Live Forever or Die Trying
Thanks clarkey and adam. very true when doing a new quote mate but when calling them half wits up on the phone, it is so much easier just to give a reg for a mid policy change quote :b)
