I'm regrettably selling my VFR, I've recently spent a lot on it getting it to look as good as it does now but due to old injuries I'm struggling to ride it nowadays. I've resprayed it a deep metallic black, put a leather seat cover on, new grips, Xenon headlights, and an Art race can, it looks, rides and sounds awesome and I'll be very sorry to see it go. But needs must. Faults:- There's an intermittent fault with the digital clock, it comes on and goes off from time to time, at the moment it's off so can't verify the mileage which is about 35,000 miles. I've tried everything short of replacing the clock to sort it including fitting a brand new rectifier (Always a good idea on a Honda) but still not been able to cure it. There's a small crack in the rear light cluster and a scratch on the tank that could easily be covered with a tank protector. There's also a scuff on the engine cover that the previous owner did and all the usual age associated nicks and dings that you'd expect from a 15 year old bike. Overall it's a great bike and it's never let me down or failed to put a smile on my face every time I've ridden it and will also make it's new owner as happy as I've been with it.
