Posting for a mate: £2500 Sadly for sale is my 1998 Yamaha 1000cc R1 in blue! Selling due to needing money for a new car and will be sad to see it leave. Good points: -Fast, Really fast. -Loud -Heated grips -No major scratchs -High level stubby carbon can -Pillion seat cover -R&G Crash bungs -New cam chain fitted few months ago -Rear hugger -Flush front LED indicators -Good life left in the chain -Good front tire -Freshly painted engine covers -Tones of service history -All old MOTs -Rides fantasticly! The 'I should mentions': -Rear tire is getting low in the middle but sides have tones of life. -Fuel low light is always on but this has never bothered me so haven't sorted it. Cheep fix just the tank sensor is duff. -Slight seep from one fork seal. -At somepoint someone has modified the front fairing slighty to accept riser bars (long since converted back to clip ons as standard) but it looks good and is a clean job that adds to the looks if you ask me!
