I bought a 12v animal horn for my bandit, more as a piss take than anything but im not sure where to wire it too, the horn its self is pretty big and thinkin bout mounting onto the rad bolts and the six buttons for each different noise thing on to the bars with tie-wraps.

The only thing i strugglin with really is where to wire it into and is somethin like the head light a good idea?

It shouldn't use much power but I wouldn't put it on with your headlights incase it pops the fuse.

To make it easy wire or to get rid of take the wires straight from the battery terminals and use an inline fuse somewhere to protect it

Or take from your ignition live. They have a healthy current thorugh them, but putting an inline fuse in also is a good idea.

Thinkin bout wiring it direct to the battery with a fuse in between and leaving it live as its not gonna use any power whilst its not being used is it... the secondary problem is where to mount the bloody thing as its fairly big and the only place big enough with modding anything too much is under the back seat or above the rear wheel. Would a bit of thin alloy hold it, as the mount for it is plastic (cheap thin shit too)

bandit has loads of space under the tank, above the rocker cover. plenty space to mount/sit a 12v horn
