As the title suggests, 125 friendly route from St Helens (Boars Head pub) to The Scotch Piper on Wednesday 27/08/2014 Leaving at 18:45 from St Helens Boars Head pub (opposite Texaco garage) along Elton Head road and riding towards Scotch Piper using Rainford Bypass route. We will be stopping at The Game Bird pub along the East Lancashire Road at 19:00 if anybody wishes to join us from that point onwards. Watch out for the plod on your approach to the scotch they have been out in force over the past couple of weeks boosting there pension funds
Which road is that mate? We use rural back roads to get there (almost like riding across farmers fields)
As you get to the canal bridge just before piper and about a mile before the scotch if you are coming from southport direction plenty been done over the passed couple of weeks make sure youre switched on
Please note it will be a slow (comparatively) ride as I will have my nephew on the back of my bike and Antzxr will have his daughter riding pillion.

skipped this week as i couldnt be bothered with the chippings... went to blackpool via parbold instead. typically half the route too was very freshly laid chippings ! ended up riding on the path for half of it lol.
