So Recently iv been out quite a lot, done some major miles, and do you know what iv seen?(other than the obvious)? nothing! thats right nothing! the world has gone past in a wonderfull blur of green. so hows this for an idea, wed or thurs evening going into wales for a chippy tea run to the chippy in bewts y coed, then on through the lamberris pass, back down the coast road at a pace more sensible, with a view to stopping and getting some pics and enjoying the run for an entirely different reason? Im suggesting although no one is going to stick to 30 in a 30, 40 in a 40 ect that we set a rule for the ride that 10mph over the posted limit is a max! no 100 mph tt style runs that every outing this year has turned into. Just a nice steady pace, take in some scenary and enjoy life at a slower pace for once. Anyone fancy it ?(apart from martin)
That'd be miles too fast for me. Seriously though that'd be brilliant, the Llanberis pass is stunning, it'd be good to have a stop in one of the laybys for 15 minutes to take it all in. If Petes eats in Llanberis is open it might be best to eat there.
so do you fancy it phil? wed or thurs eavening which ever has the best weather forcast? slow and steady?
When i go for ride outs 9 times out of 10 i ride at the speed limit so i can see the scenery lol Prefer just cruising along most of the time its alot more enjoyable.
lets have a look at the weather, see which is best wed or thurs, im away till wed dinner time so what ever time really, im aware people are working so what ever suits them
I'm interested I'm this. Need to get used to biking again and would be brilliant to have that sort of calm relaxed reintroduction.
Yes sounds right up my street. Put me down for this. I love bets it's one of my fav places. Bout time we had a slower riding group Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk sue
If you start letting the fast ones come then thats it........there will be a race on and mozz are you really the best person to be leading a slow ride.....not after what i have just been told.... :bleh:
i.ll get me bmx out :bleh: seriously tho mate this is a good idea cant do this one but if it going to be regular rides then im off work in 2weeks time so would give it a go,be good to see if i can actually manage this and im sure my license will appreciate it
