Just got my yamaha r6 home on a 05 plate and have noticed that only one headlight works on the dip beam but both sides on the main beam. Was wandering if this was how they where or if a bulb has gone. If it is how they are, I was wandering if I could get them so that both sides work!
That's the way it works on mine so I'm guessing yours bike will be the same, there is a way if making them both be on as I have seen it on the zed forum so why don't you join a r6 forum and ask on there
Yeah, R6s have the left light for dipped beam and both for full. The right hand side is adjusted for full beam visibility. There's a mod you can do the R125 that can make both lights come on at the same time, IIRC it involves a little bit of splicing and soldering. Most modern bike have one dipped and one full.. My old 250r Harder to see on this pic but the left (full beem) is off Sent from my Galaxy Tab2 on the bog
