Right selling my bandit as spare or repairs. W reg n600 in black. 13 months mot as passed its mot last week and was tested with a month still remaining so 13months. Taxed till the end of this month. (47k km) Approx 28k miles Recent work New chain and sprokets New pads front and rear. New plugs New oil and filter Just had the carbs ultrasonic cleaned. Reason its been sold as spares or repairs it broke down on me two weeks ago - was running fine then just started to misfire and stopped. Replaced the main fuse when I got home and it started but firing on 3 cylinders then after about 45 secs it was back to normal. Rode it down for MOT - passed its mot - came home - went for a ride and its back to being intermittent. Well I haven't got the time or interest in biking at the moment with work commitments and recently buying a car so its for sale. I haven't got the technical skills to resolve this and I don't think its worth spending money at a garage - so it could be a good little bike for someone who can. The box and rack are not included. First £650 will take the bike.
For £500 its worth fixing mate surely, it looks to be in decent condition. Having said that i'd have bitten your hand off last month.
If you want to come and see if you can find the fault the kettle is ready. lol I just don't know what the issue is. sent.
run it over to me, leave it with me for a few days and i'll look at it between jobs, if i can't fix it then no charge.
I've just had the exact same problem, exact same bike. First off, have you got an inline fuel filter? There could be shit in your tank getting into them or there's a little rubber seal in the fuel tap that could be disintegrating, I know mine was. Really nice of Bloke to take a look at it for you, Perr38 was nice enough to put mine through his ultrasonic for me and it runs like a dream now!
The bike is no longer for sale - going to take bloke up on his kind offer - will post updates as I know more.
