After my huge Photo exhibition (Wheels and Motion 11) at the end of November i had managed to raise £2400 purely through people coming along to view my pictures and also generous donations and sponsors. I had set a target of £3000 so after finally collecting the money pledged and a final push, a total of £3050 has been raised. The money has been distributed between Help for Heroes - £1050.00, this includes sales of wristbands The North West Air Ambulance - £1000.00 Bolton Mountain Rescue Team - £1000.00 I have so many people interested in my work that i now have a display stand at Rivington Top Barn each Sunday and each picture sold includes a donation to my chosen three charities. Many thanks go to all the people that have supported my fundraising activities. I have tried to include a thank you to everyone on my website www.SK-Art.co.uk Photography has opened up a whole new life for me to which i am privileged to be able to include all my family and friends. In the biking world, the whole community are so friendly and i have been lucky enough to have met some interesting people. For as long as i am able, both me and my family will continue to support our charities and now i find myself sponsoring my son Jamie (by way of pictures) as he is entering the European ModBall Rally this year in his Nissan Skyline which will take him around 6 cities in 6 days, London, Paris, Cannes, Rome, Venice and ending in Geneva. I and all my family and friends wish Jamie all the luck in the world on the rally and safe motoring. Attached are the pictures from the cheque presentations. North West Air Ambulance cheque was presented at the base in Manchester City Airport.
