I can see you've got dynamags on there... what rear swingarm is that? Looks like a BSB item..? Heres a couple of pics of my ZX7R [image]http://94.229.165.73/Falcon/OultonParkJuly/TomPics/Pic036.JPG[/image] [image]http://94.229.165.73/Falcon/OultonParkJuly/TomPics/Pic023.JPG[/image] [image]http://94.229.165.73/Falcon/OultonParkJuly/TomPics/Pic043.JPG[/image] [image]http://94.229.165.73/Falcon/OultonParkJuly/TomPics/Pic039.JPG[/image]
Nice pics mate, the wheels are magnesium marchesini's and swing arm is a 04 zx10r but the fairing is a BSB carbon item! Are you going to oulton on 21st nov?
possibly, depends on money. I'd be in the fast group if i was, what group do you generally join? Be nice to see what lighter wheels/fairing/swinger does for the bike. Mines far from standard though. Some vid's of me at oulton here - click on member on youtube to see some more http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=agkdA5-UYtU
Never been round oulton on a bike so in the baby group! what mods have you done? I have a 836 engine but it keeps cracking number 1 liner, hoping I have now solved the problem but dont think I will be putting it back in till next year. The engine Im running now has kit cams, factory pro jet kit and ignition advancer
I would love a stroked 836cc engine, thats with the L crank and 2mm bore isnt it? Current setup Full Ti Akra Factory Pro Jet kit (178/180/180/178, mix 2.25, no shims on needle and 15.5mm floatheight) needs some fine tuning but its smooth at the moment Ignition advancer +4 P6 engine (standard cams) K&N air filter Float bowl mod 4Pot Nissin calipers (from bandit 1200) Downgeared Thats about it engine/performance wise. Had the suspension redone stuff too.. goes well Who setup your 836 engine? I hear ray stringer is still knocking around doing the work these days.
I bought the engine alresdy done then after 700 miles the liner cracked so I rebuilt it with fresh liner and number one cracked again. The prolem is when you bore out a standard liner it leaves it about 1.5 mm thick because they are waisted away in the middle. so I now have zx9r liners which are machined on the outside diameter to fit the 7r block. The pistons Im using are zx9r c1 or c2. When runs it pulls great from low down and keeps going! How have you found the 4 pots? Yea Ray Stringer is still working but I've never had any contact
4 pots are miles better, I'm not a fan of the 6pot tokico's.. they are horrid unless they have freshly been rebuilt. Dont do well with grime and winter either :/ Who's doing the engine work for you ? I was looking into dropping a B model 9r engine into the 7, but I would prefer to just get an R1 track bike or something to save hassle.
Im doing the building and a friend of mine is doing the machining work. I would sooner have a good 750 than the 900 as it doesnt rev as well and I like my revs!
Yup, but you will need different banjo bolts on the calipers as they are slightly different in size on the 4pots.
