Ok, it might not seem like much to many but I've done 2 things tonight. 1, gone to the wirral via the tunnel and loved it! (any suggestions on what to do when its wet and there's water in the tunnel would be appreciated) and 2, ridden at night. Both of these things really added to the fact I was doing what I wanted when I wanted to do it. It's going to become a habit isn't it, i can see this now.
When going through the tunnel make sure you got your loud can on with the baffles out and leave it in a low gear.... *BRRAAAPPPPP* with a bit of luck you will hear again within 30 mins next time your out i will join you through the tunnel then you will know what i mean haha
haha ty Bob, i will let you know. I was going to meet with my Band, we've just bought a new PA system and so we were going to 'test it', or in other words have a blast. hearing wasn't important at that time. lol. However good cans, like the sound of that!
Regarding water in the tunnel, ive found it only ever gets carried in about 50 meters from tires then its dry as a bone. There are grates at either end to stop any streams entering. Enjoy the freedom its good isnt it haha. Youll be going out riding just for the journey in no time
i wouldn't worry about the water on the road surface too much, its the water that starts streaming from the roof you need to be concerned about !!
