Used that round about a lot and always expect this scenario from it. It's Liverpool answer to the arc de triumph haha. I never enter it as a two, always let the car in the other lane go ahead by a car length or two, so I can keep an eye on the bastards.

It is a death trap though... Smidsy'd by a taxi on my bicycle on the slip road by the jet centre heading onto the drive, cracking a few ribs and Cut off by a woman putting on makeup in a 4x4 the week after - again on the bicycle haha.

Fecking hell. I seen what he was going to do, most people do it at that roundabout. I posted it as an information/watch out if your ever on this roundabout. I was going straight on anyhow. I only got in left lane as it was clear.

All you needed to do was watch this video and see that cabby cut the lanes. NOT tell me how wrong I was or whatever. I know the place very well. I knew the cab was going to cut by his road position on entry to the roundabout. So I got along side to get it on video for others. If you didn't know the area he would have wiped you out. So thank me next time your there.

just around the exit of that corner- immediately before the pub is another death trap. I remember on here i think Rob posted about a stolen bike dumped outside it, read that at sainsbury's petrol station and as moved around a bus at the bus stop a copper pulled out on me, nearly two bikes down in the space of an hour, managed to power away but still shat myself as its always slippy on that corner too

Thats an interesting comment, seeing as this taxi driver has a pretty good IAM pass, been driving 25+years NEVER HAD AN accident car or bike, what id like to know are you saying all taxi drivers are cunts.....or all taxi drivers drive like cunts? That roundabout is one like cab says you need ride defensively and admit you are more vulnerable being on a bike . But more importantly joe dolce "shut up a ya face " kept "Vienna" ultravox(midge ure) off the number one spot which was possibly the biggest travesty ever in music !

 

Then after the roundabout goes from 2 lanes into 1 with a bus stop and every cunt tries to do a u turn. County road is even worse than the roundabout, avoid that road like the plague. I will always add on a couple of minutes and take vauxhall road to walton prison rice lane. Alot smoother ride!
