I am planing to go do a personal trip to Burton upon trent and a place called Alrewas where I grew up. I am planning my route and was looking for a) a tank bag that I can see my phone or map for reference, any thoughts and b) is there a phone charger gizmo, in the absence of a cigarette lighter, that anyone knows of? I've got a couple of weeks so no rush, but I like to be prepared. thanks, K
use a usb power charger ( its a pre charged unit that you then plug into your phone, satnav etc and it charges it up again). I have two you can get them off ebay or computer shops, argos etc.
I have a oxford magnetic tank bag used once it's a couple years old clear top for map etc you can have it if of any use. And maplins do a range of remote chargers i bought a power monkey I bought one to use when going on trips used to do mega long trips !!! bit pricey tho but sure there will be a cheaper version or get a remote emergency charger about £10
I use a Usb charger connected to the battery, never had any issue with it. Just dont use it when the bike isnt running :thumbsup:
