I know, little late just seeing what happens will let it run for now and if it doesn't sell ill try again in spring
having seen this in the flesh ill happily vouch this is the nicest cb ive ever seen in person. well worth the price imo. good luck with the sale glen
...looking at book price, top dollar is around £700 in good condition, PX is around £3-400 so you may struggle now with winter beckoning, but it is a really good time to pick up a Hornet - If you want a clean one and are happy to hunt around you'll get a good , low mileage carb model for about £1500-1800 (one that needs work with plenty of miles will take you down to a grand-ish). Your bike looks really good - I suppose mileage wise that's where you'll need to convince the buyer - if you're looking for a Hornet have a look here : http://www.hondahornet.org.uk - loads of tips, advice and info !
thanks will take a look. I think 1500 will get me a good one but will see how things go. I'may in no big rush to sell. The cb wants for nothing I just put braided pipes on it too last month. Hoping it needin nothing will help. If not I may just keep it till I can get a second later next year.
I was in a similar position when I sold my last bike - great condition but slightly high miles - it was a case of getting someone to actually look at it - sold it when they did - yours looks cherished so hopefully someone will see it and buy what is a cracking motor - I think you'll get a good hornet at 1.5k - just have a good look around - my mates run his to 42 thou and still going mega strong ! Good luck on your sale / hunt !
had 3 people interested in the bike so far. One guys apprently coming back tomorrow with an agreed price of £850. bit lower than I wanted but hay ho it goes towards my next one!
well ive taken it off the market. the guy did want it and was coming to put a deposit on it so i called the insurance and they want pretty much £100 to cancel the policy. After me knocking £150 quid of the price £250 off is a bit of a knock for what ive done to it. Plan Bis to use it till my insurance ends next bloody September lol and either buy another then or part ex/sell it then! maybe a blessing in disguise??
Ask them what it would be to transfer it to another bike to see if its worth getting the hornet before you sell yours
the women said she could let me know tommorrow but looking around theres not much at my price range atm. i think ill start saving and waiting by next summer ill have the money easily i would have thought.
