should be taking car to demon tweeks late tomorrow for gas top up, if it doesn't need much setting up may well pop down.
Pretty much a definite, due to finish work about 1pm now so even taking into account any unforeseens I shouldn't have any trouble getting away in time.
I might be at Demon Tweeks for a tyre tomorrow afternoon. Not sure about chips though need to clear garage out for a new resident.
will do, not 100% yet though. got some shocks gassed the other day but only to 140psi and they need to be 160psi so unless i find anyone closer then it's off to demonthieves.
Well that was a mission getting there. No sooner we left Stockport than the heavens opened. Had planned a scenic route but before Alderley Edge, that was abandoned and we (Baldrick and I) made for Chelford, on to Knutsford and Middlewich where dibble had closed a road. So we had to go down toward Sandbach, Crewe and on to Nantwich where we finally got some dry tarmac for the last stretch to Whitchurch. Then a road closed for road works, Baldrick note a farmer in a field (bit of a Clarkson moment). Anyway the farmer Giles waved us on and yelled as we passed, you'll get through on a bike. Finally at the chippy:- After some good scran we lazed back tup 49 to M56 and went our own ways ont' M60.
130 odd miles for fish and chips :thumbsup: It was a mission alright but I enjoyed the ride, just drying out now. Cheers Kev, some more new roads for me.
