So we read some threads and put horrible stupid comments and make the other biker cry, lets have a dislike button so anyone with negative imput can just hit the dislike instead of upsetting people
I am on another forum (www.landoverbaptist.net) and they use dislike and like buttons depending on how good you are..
maybe an indifference button for those who neither like or dislike...... I'll get my coat...........:whistle::whistle::whistle::bag::bag::wacky::wacky:
Or maybe just don't say anything or press any buttons. Is this just so you don't have to read things when people disagree you with smudge?
What about an 'incinerate' button? Or a 'bolt from the blue yonder' button?? Or what about about and 'electric chair shock' button???? Better than a lame poke, dontcha think, lol.
What if someone really pisses you off? Maybe a Nuke button that calls in an air strike? I can just imagine someone sitting on the bog hearing the missiles coming. Maybe he would think. "Yeah I suppose that post was a bit harsh."
BCF has a karma system in play, where by other members rate individual posts with either negative or positive karma. It works well, the mods have less work to do, and idiots are soon dispatched to GBbikers. The other bonus of the karma system is, you get penalised for poor spelling and swearing. A forum that self-moderates is a good idea:- the quality of info increases, crap threads are soon ignored and the author soon learns to stop making shit and pointless threads.
