Hi guys, The time has come to sell my beloved CG125 as I have no place for it alongside my CB500 and it just isn't getting used. Also could do with the cash after my spill the other week!!! As in the ad below it has a fair amount of work done in the 2 years I've had it: - (Jan 2013) Chain + sprockets and brake shoes - (Feb 2013) Replaced various bodged wiring connectors around the loom with proper bullet type connectors - (Mar 2013) New Honda exhaust system - (Mar 2013) Rewound generator coils - (May 2013) Steering head bearings and fork oil change - (Jun 2013) New front and rear tyres - (Aug 2013) New head and base gasket due and new valve stem oil seals - (Sep 2013) Weld repair to engine mounting lug - (Sep 2013) Changed headlight for 8" type with 35w halogen bulb + new front indicators - (Oct 2013) New rectifier and battery - (Jan 2014) New throttler cable I also had Jay SP1 from here pull out and fill the dent in the tank caused by a rogue roof tile and also respray it and also the rest of the fairing pieces. He did a pretty good job on it although it is now without its period decals from the early 90's as they no longer sell them. As in the ad the main issue is a a bit of free play in the brake pedal and main stand pivot caused by the worn holes in the frame. Someone with welding skills could partially fill the hole and grind/file it back to make the pin a snug fit. A half hour job for someone who knows what they're doing. Unsure if it's an MOT failure ATM but will find out this weekend when it goes in. I will be selling with a full 12 months MOT and tax so would be ready to ride away. I'm asking £595 in the ad but would consider any reasonable offer from you guys on here.
