Riding when suddnly, SNAP ,TWANG and wheels locked, the fu*k was that I say. Well, there's ya problem.
No, after some time, I put the old one back on due to some lining up issues, however we did notice a problem with hub, witch funny enough I was going to replace this week anyway.
Your gonna laugh at this, for me not sorting it eariler, but there...... there was a crack.. in the top hand bolt housing........alm:
Ah. Id say probably caused by mounting an incorrect sprocket last time. Take it as a lesson learned. Cos that could have been a lot worse.
Leason learned and one dead bike, the part has been discntiuend and all the braking for parts bikes ahve had this part already gone.
Perhaps, but my situation hasn't improved from the last time a new bike was suggested.+ I don't think the parents would like a 3rd dead bike sitting on the drive.
why don't you just get an sv650 for £69 per month from MMC It will be cheaper than that your doing at the moment.
2 problems, 1, can't ride one, 2, MMC are no where near me.but it's a good thought, my only problem... it's naked.
Semi naked.....part faired technically but that would still provide more protection than the small frame on this bike, so get that test done pal!
you can buy the lowers and they just bolt on in 10 mins. You cant ride full stop - full stop into the back of a parked car - lol
I can ride, just apparently not very well... if no one else is on the road I'm the best ever..........
i dont think they would like a dead son either……….putting a cracked housing unit back on is just asking for trouble ….god was looking down on you when that snapped ..it could have been much worse glad your ok ..take it has a huge lesson learnt
It was due to be replaced, but turns out it's not an easy part to come by, infact, I'm having to take a chance on one that is similar to this. Also, how many times can god look down on me? I swear you must have said that at least everyone month since I got the thing.
Its probably time to just replace mate. I know you'll probably say you can't afford it, but at the same time you cant really afford to take a chance on things like that either. Have a look at cheap finance as purity suggested, there may be ways and means pal. As others have said, you were lucky, you may not be next time  Reminds me of a fairly well known biking saying, "don't ride faster than your guardian angel can fly", you're just lucky that your bike cant go as fast as your average angel
