This was a brilliant post Alex, I've ridden a few times with NWB members but never in a large group yet but I'm looking forward to it this summer and these guidelines make me feel much better about participating in big group rides!
First ride with the group and my tank WILL be full in the future. Thanks again for a great day. Phil Hill (Blackburn)
Should this thread mention people using cameras on group ride outs and the use of the videos made ie putting the footage on YouTube or other media sites As it's common for the fuzz to use online videos to get peeps on bother Or worst if an accident happens on the days ride using the video as evidence )
Ok I'll start the argument... What happens if you're riding quickly and in a silly manner in a group and you have video evidence of your mate in front of you (number plate). Personally I feel that all number plates should be edited out
Easy one this. No cameras on group ride outs. Have been on a few and have seen things on every one which could potentially get someone in the shit. Sent from my GT-I8190N using Tapatalk
If cameras are use all members should be asked if footage can be broadcasted Sent from my GT-I9300 using Tapatalk
And if the majority say no and the one with the camera still decides to put it on line what happens then? You can't regulate it. Sent from my GT-I8190N using Tapatalk
Yep, been there seen it done it! One of the reasons I'm not a big fan of group rides with groups of people I don't know.
To be honest when brashy introduced me to nwb in spring 2013 i was abit nervouse obout going on rides but this post has put nerves to rest and i should be seeing you thtough out the warmer weekends
Unfortunately if the police stop you and seize the vid anyone that's been filmed doing something could get prosecuted. The argument is we should all ride like angels but that just isn't always the case and are you happy to take some of the responsibility if they go down? Sent from my GT-I9300 using Tapatalk
